Welcome from the Desto family!
I am Manuel, the Agrichef of La Colombara, which I run together
with my wife Monica and our family.
An Agrichef is a "farmer-chef" who brings traditional recipes to the table, respecting
seasonality and rural flavors, using ingredients dedicated to the protection of biodiversity.
La Colombara has been our life since 1989, and since not everyone knows how an agriturismo works, we’ll explain
it in a few words.
There is no agriturismo without a working farm... We offer
you the genuineness of seasonal products from our land, taking great care in selecting raw materials from our
own livestock and crops. We adapt our menu to the seasons and your needs, doing our best to make you feel at
home.
We don't have Gordon Ramsay in our kitchen, but you'll find us—offering you tasty, genuine home
cooking with all the love and passion possible.
Enjoy your meal!
A paradise for our little guests!
We know well that happy children mean relaxed parents! That’s why at La Colombara we’ve created a fully equipped playground: from slides, castles, and swings for the little ones, to the thrilling Zipline for the more adventurous and a football pitch for a match with friends, there’s never a shortage of space to run free.
Things to do nearby
The Agriturismo La Colombara is located in a privileged position, thanks to its proximity to
Lake Garda and the city of Verona.
The structure stands on the banks of the Adige river, making it a popular destination for
rafting enthusiasts, who find our agriturismo the ideal place to refresh and rest after their descent.
Just a few steps away, you'll find a rock-climbing wall, perfect for those who love adventure sports;
alternatively, you can enjoy pleasant walks through the wind farm area, surrounded by nature.
The cycling path leading to Forte Rivoli is also very suggestive; built to
defend the ancient Austrian border, it is now open to the public, where you can visit an interesting exhibition
of historical cannons.
Mountain bike and cycling fans can challenge themselves on longer routes: the Adige cycle path
allows you to reach Trento, passing through Belluno Veronese, Borghetto, Avio, and Rovereto, crossing landscapes
of great beauty.
Finally, for those who wish for a simple and healthy walk, just five minutes from La Colombara is the
Church of San Michele di Gaium, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages.
We look forward to welcoming you
Whether it's for a day of sport, a family outing, or simply to enjoy the flavors of our land, the Desto family awaits you at La Colombara. Come and discover our farm-to-table cuisine and the beauty of our valley.
